what, around the a or b loop?

thundercross aint hard to get around, i get bored and go up into the rock face of the hill and cut across around the perimeter.

try that, going over streams with wet limestone rocks under the water
    its like riding/standing on ice

Quad-riplegic. These things are spine busters - avoid. Don't make me break out my MRI's.

I have been riding quads for a good 6-7 years now (only 18) and they are definitely good fun.If you are thinking of riding MX tracks on quads you can keep it relatively cheap and go down LTR 450 route and race them off the showroom floor as they , along with the new YFZ450R , have the MX standard 50" wide axles and A-Arms which are essential if you are planning on doing any sort of MX riding.

Just be warned though , if you get the competitve edge and want to get that little bit more out of the bike , a fairly deep pocket is required as aftermarket go fast goodies for quads don't come cheap , as I have found out all too well.

I know of a couple of the top bikes at AATV (Auckland ATV) have a good $30k-$40k of aftermarket parts/work done to them, which shows the sort of money that has been put into a bike at the pointy end of the field. But if you are just out there for trails rides and the odd club day then I'm sure a stock TRX450R , YFZ450 , Polaris Predator/Outlaw would do the trick just fine.

I recommend you check out www.aatv.co.nz, as this gives you a good indication of the different sorts of racing the club does all round the year.

Strange you should say that. I did the same thing, but found some trees to play in as well.
Get bored doing the same track.

Quads, well the smaller the better for me as that way its easier to get the fuckers off me when we have "issues"

raptor 660 if you have any balls at all. fukken phat. but bikes are faster on pretty much anything but flat tracks and gravel roads. power power power slides like you can't imagine are cool. racing other quads and locking wheels in a multi tumble type flip manouver gets you a free helicopter ride... also cool
