    This Sunday 14th at Slipway

There is a fun day for Buckets at the Slipway in Brooklyn.
This means NO points races. So swap your bikes, test out your blowers and have fun racing!!

As per usual (taken from www.bucketracing.co.nz)
Venue: Slipway Driving Facility, Long Valley, Brooklyn, Wellington
Directions: Signposted from the end of Ashton Fitchett Dr, Brooklyn. Drive past the wind turbine for 1.2km and watch for gravel road on the right.
    Sign on: 11:00 am
    Race start: 12:00 am
Classes: Bucket solos - Bucket sidecars - Motards - Scooters - First timers
Entry fee: $35 + $10 per extra class

Now, the gate has been provided with PIN number 9482# (make sure you put the # after the numbers)
This is only for the day and will change after Sunday.

Please get out there early if you can and help us usual people set up the track with tyres if you're racing.

Looks like its shaping up to be another wet meeting from the long range forecast. Yay for slick tyres and surface water!

Seriously though, if its third wet round in a row this is getting a bit silly

Can we clarify what early means. Last time someone was there early and setting up tyres they were told to leave and come back later.

IMO that would be around 10.45-11.00am.
People tend to arrive a lot later than that, once the track has been set up of course !!

Not gonna make it I'm sorry. Got too many things that need attention at home.

OK the BadAss #21 has reconditioned forks, stiffer rear suspension, new jetting, and fancy new airbox, so is ready to go... See ya all there round lunchtime

The fancy new rain-proof airbox courtesy of Garth's Kiwi ingenuity and a used bottle of Yamaha Carb Clean!

...and Lady Penelope is making an appearance...FINALLY !!!!!!!!

Also, if you get there a little earlier, we'll do sign-on before going through the gate to speed things up.

I will be there. Same bike as last time (haven't had time to do anything) except this time it should at least start.

    I hope...

It looks like we might even have a "dry" meeting! Rain looks like it disappeared overnight

Definately a fun day, was interesting to race on a half wet track with goat crap and dirt! Overall I enjoyed it, but I won't make it next week to Kaitoke I am quite sure. Not enough money to fix up the damages, but I will be working on the bike to have it Kaitoke ready this week. I also have some tank camera footage that I will be biffing on youtube too if you want to check it out. Keep a look out on my account http://www.youtube.com/user/IPhantomLordI because you might be in it!
