Anyone know any "other" ice cream vans

Hi All,

We wanted to get Mr Whippy for our wedding in December, however, the guy who has the Downtown Auckland franchise has decided not to answer my e-mails and when I ring asks me to e-mail him.

Hilariously, forwarding my original e-mail to Mr Whippy to ask them to forward it to him (I figured I may have got the wrong e-mail address, or my webmail is getting sent to his spam box) achieved nothing. It appears soft serve is a recession-proof business as these guys clearly don't want my money.

Regardless, I still want an ice cream truck at the reception. Does anyone know of a lesser-known brand (one-man band type thing, I guess) who would like some work of a Saturday evening and that I wouldn't have to just about got on my knees and beg them to please, please let me give them some cash?

There is a "fixed" Mr Whippy in the Sky City movie complex on Queen St. Would they be a start point for a decent "human being to human being" discussion?

Hiring a machine is a last resort - I'd rather avoid the mess INSIDE.

Hrm, don't get the opposition.. seriously, you KNOW it tastes like cardboard and melts real fast and drips off your elbows.. It will be huge disaster for sure.
