F**k sake's, clear things up,
this is what normally happens someone has and idea for a ride, discuss ride where we are going, if you think its too short say so, the lead rider dictates the speed, which is normally a speed he or she feels comfortable with,
(don't shoot the lead rider) he/she is probably doing it, because no one else will, and just to get things going, otherwise we will be still pissing around.
They usually set the pace at a speed that suits there style of riding,
If you feel its too slow for you, by all means take over lead, no will be offended, you will find other faster riders will follow. Remember there are differing skill levels, the rest of the group will be fine, hopefully riding with in their own ability's.
The idea is to enjoy the ride with other like minded people who share the same passion for bikes.
Well I really i only came along because I thought I could pickup chicks
Oh and on the off that happened that night, had nothing to do with speed or someone trying to keep up, we lost a rider, he was trying to find us, out in the middle of no where, dark, raining, and the bright lights of an on coming car, read his post on it.
I miss you guys.

Haha remember those days mate, warp speed everywhere, some of our younger and new to riding need to take a leaf from gijoe1313's book. He as he would put it, just pootilled along watching us disappear, but he new where we were going and what roads, where we were going to stop had a lot of smokers with us then.

Sharper_XB and I had a long but great ride on the weekend.
After all the blather here, nobody else showed
Sharper_XB and I ride at different paces, no-one got lost, no-one buggered off, we met other riders at the Coroglen, had a few wee moments each and great kudos to him for riding the Buell over 10km of ugly gravel when we screwed up a little.
Both the wives complained we were out too long but we couldn't hear them on the bikes while they sat at home so nya nya to them.
Lifes good, that's what it's all about.
Next time some of you others should come: it would have been a good day to do suspension setups or discuss lines and how to ride in a group etc.
