Ok chaps sorry about the delay. It is currently being recorded (hopefully) as we speak. Don't worry that I'm home feeling like crap with cramping body & the sweaty shakes as long as you guys get to see yourselves on the big screen.

Quality isn't that good & I say "here we are at..." right thru the whole thing.

Hope your days are going better than mine tho the view out the window is lovely...

Progress report - SLOW. Its been too cold to be enthused to go out to the garage at night. I have disassembled the front fairing/headlight/instruments, recording which plug goes where & there are heaps. This area appears to have taken max impact & it all needs replacing. The bike shop hasn't yet got a parts list so we haven't started pricing OEM. The forks seem OK but I will drop them out this weekend to check - will probably replace the steering head bearings while it is all apart.

I'm thinking of putting on another headght & speedo to get on the road/permanently.
Nordieboy - do you like your Trailtech Vapour & what headlight are you using & why?

My wife is getting upset about my late nights on the internet checking out parts for sale on Ebay. She said the problem is I don't have multiple bikes in the garage. The seed is sown.

Bloody wicked, you can get a DR!!!!

When you get parts and/or start work on the T/A, shout me if you want an extra pair of hands to help Andy! At the moment I have Mondays, Tuesdays & Saturdays all day free to myself! Errr, maybe not Saturdays = adv ride day! LOL!
But, yeah could come help Mon/Tue/Fri evenings too!

Happy to help if you want mate!

    Cheers, Dave

It's actually an Acewell speedo but if I did it again I'd get a Vapour for the engine temp bit.

The headlight is off an SV650 and it throws a better pattern, bolted right up with minimal fuss and looks much more betterer.
Along with being about $60 2nd hand.

Doing a headlight on another bike I'd look at the usual culprits like the Acerbis and UFO ranges.

I liked the one on the Nordie but it needed a better bulb.
