Sorry to hear it, that's gotta be a shock for you.

It sounds a bit like a condition that happened to my mother back 5 years ago. She's quite alright now and the occurance was attributed to excessive stress. Depending on what your doctors find out you might just have to slow yourself down a bit and make sure you don't habitually over-commit yourself.

Best wishes for getting on top of it!
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

    Sorry to hear that, Dude.
I know EXACTLY how you feel !!!

I had 2 seizures just out of the blue about 4-5 years ago. Suddenly diagnosed with epilepsy with no known cause and lots of time off bikes. Frustrating to hell.

If I can be of any help, let me know

You might as well go for one last epic thrash. I mean, you'll be walking for six months ANYWAY...

But on a more serious note www.mnz.co.nz
Hose clip and a bit of tye wire and we'll see ya there !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I’ve had a couple of cobbers this has happened to now, both truck drivers and busy guys, one is back on trucks but the other isn't yet, from what i understand they haven't got a clue what happened or got any answers neither.

obviously your not reading the posts carefully, Dogs did not mention a cyclist as there wasn't one.. I think you will find Sunhuntin was talking about another accident outside her work which involved a cyclist

Dude, shitty as it might seem, like you said you're still kicking around and no one else come to grief so there are some silver linings there I guess. The next six months will be difficult for sure but with the love of your woman that's looking after you and your afore mentioned projects life could be worse eh..
I really hope though they can get to the bottom of what went on and why so perhaps something can be done about it if need be, hang in there Baz.
I think we need to organize the odd group visit from time to time just to check up and make sure you're behaving yourself.

What a horrible, worrying situation. And not knowing why.

From reading these it sounds like you're not the only one anyway.
It happened to a guy I worked with almost exactly the same as you although he finished up driving into the end of his boss's garage when driving the boss's wife home.Turned out he had had a small stroke. The good news is that he did his time off the road, came back to full and normal health and has been driving instructor for these past 7 years with no further incident.
