    Full stop

    Every now and then in life there is a full stop.

    I mean for a 35yr old female with a life partner and two childs, suffering from the big 'c', spending the last year having 50 chemotherapies, radiotherapy, several operations, becoming paralysed with the tumour invading the spine, trying to survive to be with your children, then STOP!
    THAT'S IT!. Adios amigo. NO MORE!

    FULL STOP!

    Well that was what greeted someone today.
    I had to deal with this at work today.
    Sure you pessimists, she is no longer suffering. BUT what a thing to happen to a family.

    Just venting
    The red wine helps me, I'm having a couple for the brave wee girl

    Sounds hard when your mate has waited so long in the 'wings' and finally you have the perfect family when things go awry. Even though she smoked, the environment she worked in - Cadbury cocoa room (without mask) - didn't help. Always coughing up brown stuff after work.
    So young, so much to live for.

    Happens most days eh.A young guy in Wellington is having chemo started Monday,wants to grow up and enjoy life,his story was amazing in the Dom.Determined to try all cures and kick the shit out of the cancer,was a little worried about effects,but reading between the lines he figured 6 months is a short time in life.

    I'm a stubborn bugger at times,but not sure how I would feel if told this is all we can do for you.
