Hahaha, takes many years of practice to perfect the black eye through the helmet trick.

I was pretty impressed with your 'bolts through the swingarm' job too. that was simply awesome.

Nah its fine! I got down it on a solo ride unscathed after I'd only been adv riding a few weeks, so it can't be too bad or else I would've snapped something on the KLX that day, me being me! We've been on worse since for sure aye! The trickiness to it is the steepness combined with so much loose rock and nasty erosion channels all together that just go and on for 2/3rds of the descent - makes it interesting shall we say!

We'll all be fine on there!
    Cheers, Dave

Joe, if I'm a non-starter on the RRRR2 for money reasons after yesterdays unforseen expense( ), I am a definite for this instead mate! Haven't been to Castlepoint yet! Will decide Wednesday arvo/early eve, so can cancel cabin in Napier if need to.
    Cheers, Dave

    hi,
I'm racing vintage MX on saturday in Wanganui, so If me and my wallet survive the day, then I'm keen for a good run out on sunday.
Not sure yet as old bikes can be expensive!!

start time for this sundays ride out to the matakoina, can be moved a little to allow for our cold morns.

but not to late as it gets cold quick in the evenings.
so welly riders can get home in good time.

    some where between 10-11am.
will allow good time to do matakoina and through to castle point with a play on the beach.

    okies.
