Almost got you from 30metres behind at start of main straight as it is.
Get some bigger brakes first is my advice.
See you sooner rather than later.....

Dude, 140RWHP is not a standard bike, I'd check the bores before you order the 1070 kit as you may already have one.
What were you doing 30m behind me
My brakes are fine, I just need the confidence to use them properly.
I won't be modifing my bike this year as I need finish my Katana (photo in profile) besides its not a power issue that makes me slow its just that I'm still learning.
You would love Pukekohe, its a serious HP circuit. Try and make one of the NZPCRA meetings later this year, Nov ish.
PS "When I remember how to ride properly you'll need more than 150 HP budy"

I think I'll need to buy some tyre warmers if I'm going to do these winter races. It takes a couple of laps to get some heat in the tyres and by then the race is nearly over.
I'll be watching the results, so you had better go hard girl.
    see you round 3 perhaps

the 89 exup 1002cc was 145 claimed crank stock and the genesis 87/88 was 125 claimed. Many claim the motors took up to 15k to fully run in and they gained up to 10hp.
i think my bores are still stock but the dyno shows 12500rpm so my cams may not be stock.Just guessing. No sign of mods and the heads not ported.
Yoshi headers and airbox and jets.
    Still got alternator and starter.

Yama used same motor through to 1996 thunderace.

I would love to do some laps at Manfield, BUT the wifes cars blew up and I just forked out $9K on another vehicle for her.
So my funds are too low at the moment.
You should be happy I didn't come down for Rd2, with your off and all I could have been leading the Pre'89 class.
