Loose Bruce at Ngaruawahia service station.

Nunquam Non Paratus
An asian gentleman and his partner, we met in Turangi and got talking, he was from Auckland and riding a grey/silver Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird. I remember he said he was into endurance rides but unfortunately off the top of my head I can't quite remember his handle on KB. Really glad I met him though coz i've since met and made friends with some really decent people via KB.
Cowboyz, Meanie, and Bonez. Bloody good ride that was too. Quickly followed by Chanceyy, Sugilite, Dogsnbikes and U4ea. And then lot's of other amazing characters.
It's only Rock and Roll but I like it
Probably Old Rider back in the days when we both worked for ECNZ in Twizel (if I'm correct about his real identity).
Then Jantar when I moved to Cromwell, not that any of us were KiwiBikers then. This was during my 12 years between bikes.
I went to a Track day with Ralph, three others that were there turned out later to be Cajun, MotoGirl and macmotortrimmer. Not that Ralph or I were KiwiBikers then either. Nor was KiwiBiker discussed that I can recall, they were just some of the other riders at the track day (Taupo just as the new track was being constructed)
First one I met knowing we were both KiwiBikers was Shafty.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.
The first KBer I met in person was Uncle B (Bruce) at the top of the 'taka's. I'd had the RF about a week and was still getting to grips with it. He saw that, as I pulled into the carpark at the top and came over to say hello. I talked to him coz he wasn't a holier than though "I'm gonna tell you how you should ride kinda guy" I talked to him coz he was genuine and helpful. A good man taken too soon.
Also met Darkman, Skelstar and Flame that day...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
Hmmm I am thinking back over 5 years (I didn't sign up straight away - it looked pretty dodgy ...so I just lurked for quite a bit trying to pick up hints and tips).
Anyway I finally got a 250 and ended up at TSS when they first opened, attending a basic motorcycle maintenance session and met (amongst quite a few others) Lynda Blair.
At the time, I didn't realise that she and others were on KB, but I later registered and then met Jim Deuce, ET AL, Bugsplat, Hitcher, Kickaha, Miss Piggy to name a few. Great rides - great company - no bullshit... (well just a wee bit and that was mainly me!)
