Good to catch up with Squid (nice burn out and wheelie out of the carpark) on his borrowed bike.

Weather looks like shite for the weekend but need to get bike out of the shed so will be waiting for a clear spell (hopefully) for a quick blat. Raggers it may have to be at some stage??

He's obviously put that turbo on, which should help me sell it

Yeah it goes heaps better now, power stands in 2ed gear even!! It was abit of a trick to get it the turbo to fit in under the fairings though.

If showers stop as predicted mid morning I'm on for a coffee at raggers, the toy has had had a bit of maintanance, old bikes appreciate it.

A quick ride around the rural road test route and all is okay.

So looking for a bit of fresh air.

    Hey there.
A few of us were expecting Sunday to be dampish so opted on a small outing this afternoon.
As it turned out the rain turned up as soon as we put our gear on so we had a 60k round trip poodle in the rain and stopped back at The Cook for a warm up.
Our 2 L plate riders did very well in not entirely ideal condition.
Was a good test of our waterproofs tho some found them err not ideal. Something about soggy bottoms !!

And when I made it back home I showed my bike some love, washed it and gave the chain some extra love as the wet riding seemed to have depleted its lubricant.

I had me firewood dropped of early so managed to get a quick fire 135km lap out of the morning.... I had heard that the road from Kawhia to Raglan had been tar sealed or something so decided to head out for a look WRONG !!!! hard packed alright but not best siuted to the shit conditions, it was bad enough riding SH31 as there was grit strips everywhere all in all a good day for wet weather training which is good
