Id play with ya Sarge but in the interests of public safety I really need to change over my rear tyre and I need Lances gear for that so I have to wait for him to get home this arvo. Then me and Maria are off to the Tui Brewery for an NZP work dinner then back into town for Horse's BDay drinks.

No real riding on the one day the suns out!

All good dude, good to hear the Gixxer is coming along reasonably well.
Might come by to see for myself if you're gonna be around, thinking of trying again to see the Transformers movie, all the sessions that I could have gone to last saturday were booked out, probably be the same today but fortunately that's not the only movie that is taking my fancy that's at the cinema at the moment so..

Sweet Sarge. It's a bit wet over here at the mo so I'll be around if you get over

Had a great night in Wanga's listening to Kerry and then learning heaps watching him strip down and tune a Bonnie. Took the Tiger over, nice wee ride and damn glad I got the mangrips!

Would've loved to be there for that, but can't be in two places at once. Next time!

was thinking yesterday that it seems a little unbalanced in mid corner if you encounter bumps, not bad, just a little out of whack, maybe front and rear shocks/rebound/damping aren't set the same? she just seems to boogie a bit from front to rear....

a bit down on power - reeeaaally down in the mid range to what i'm used to but it seems to ride fine, found myself having to pick it up a bit after tipping in as it's much easier to move around and i'm used to the big-arsed-honda , the 180 rear might have something to do with that too, i always had a 170 on mine....too quiet for me though, can't hear a bloody thing over 80km, (same as mine)

engine seems strong, revs out well.....umm..... i notice your legs are more cramped and your feet seem higher than the bird, a little more 'sports', and the gear lever i find more cramped to change up with my big feet lol

that seat is nice and comfy, a bit slippery though, haven't tried the corbin on it yet

just rolled it over 13000 miles btw

    oohh nice write up lol

I haven't ridden many bikes to know what feels right and what feels wrong, how the bike rides at the time I just adapt to it I guess..

Yeah yeah i know th ebird packs a bigger punch you show off lol...

The cramped riding style I do agree with, I thought it was a sports tourer but seems more like my legs are up around my ears all the time, I always get cramp in the hip flexors and that would be why..Im thinking the seat is a low cut one so maybe the corbin might change that??? You could try that..If it works might have a buyer after all

I haven't noticed any bouncing around however, I did on the monster now that thing was insane for movement in the rear so the RF fealt really sold... COuld have something to do with the extra 30kg on it's back now?? lol

well after being off the bike for the last month it was great to get out for a wee flick so horse lesson done & 20 mins to gear up & get to shannon .. arrived at garage and the partners in crime were coming up the road .. perfect timing, headed to foxton beach for a wee snack & great catch up before heading back to himitangi wines to wait for the charity riders ( the partners headed home) .. quite a group there but with the rain and running well behind time the main bunch headed directly to levin while sinfull came to get the rest of us .. so nice slightly quicker ride back to levin & caught up with a few ppl I have not seen for yrs & yrs ..

from all accounts the Charity ride made a good amount of $$ the rain mostly held off for the ride (I did not get wet at all but thats wot you get when you stay local)

awesome wee ride Carmen & Mo .. lets do it again soon
Have to Karma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
