To right, my bike's coming up to about 150,000km.

Good onya! As far as I can tell my GB250 is approaching the hundred-thou mark, unfortunately it doesn't have the original odometer though, so I won't be able to watch it tick over

That was pretty good spotting to get that last zero! I can imagine myself noticing at the last second and going over the front stopping just to get the photo!

Daisy my tarty RZ250 is on 89000km thereabouts ... just as well I never intend to get rid of my bikes, their resale value would all be rock bottom!

Ayup, always changed oil and filter every 6000km, lil'ol'hornet has had one change of spark plugs and thats about it! Apart from the usual replacement of bits n'bobs due to a plonker of an owner pushing it over Twilight road or losing the front at Raglan!

Ive heard of a chap who is a Motorcycle Courier (I think for SUB60) here in the 'City of Traffic Lights' who has a big Hornet (919 / CB900F) and has past the 1/4 Million mark. 250,000 isnt bad for a Motorcycle and I bet he hasnt been babying it either!

nice one Justin- are there any roads on the north island that you haven't ridden? You should get a book out or something. "Round New Zealand with a Hornet" "Zen and the Art of riding your ass off"...
has developed a love of big fours. WTF!

Wonder how much petrol it consumed (and it's worth)...... All the insurance + Rego would cost as much as the bike's price right? Gosh bike's are expensive!

But really, congratulations. Now it's time to shine her up! (and put it in a museum)

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I believe its around 170-180 thou km at the moment, as he gets the servicing done at Botany Honda (same as us).

The last 20k on mine (40-60k), its like time has stood still, feels the same as 40k.

Gonna get overtaken by Mr GiJoe at some point shortly

Awesome work, now give it a wash and sell it as new, lest you wait another trip round the clock!
