Yeah BMI's not the best indicator of healthy weight, But it is a fact there's a lot more obese people around these days. I go swimming and notice that when the school groups come in about 70% of the kids are frikken huge, when i was at school there may have been one or two kids this size in a class of 30 and now it's the accepted norm. At the end of the day it's up to parents to cook healthy options and get of their arse and actually engage with their kids take em to the park kick a ball around . Not just hand them money for take-aways and let them blob in front of the TV or computer. I dont care really except my taxes will be wasted on treating teenagers with type 2 diabeties and increasing heart problems and a whole swag of medical issues that are easily avoided.

And not drive them to and from school every day either. Compare traffic in and out of school holidays to see how much of that goes on. And stop wrapping the kids in cotton wool and sticking them in glass cases all the time. Let 'em get out and roam around a bit instead of keeping them home in case some bogeyman gets them...
There was a good doco on RNZ recently about some mother who let her 12 yr old son get home on his own from the library or summat in New York or some large amerikan city...the whole world heard about that one...it was considered anything from insane to hugely brave...FFS I rode a bike to school when I was FIVE and didn't come to too much harm...(the kid I ran over with it on the footpath one day did though...)

There's only one reason for being fat.

The hole it goes in being bigger than the whole it goes out of.

    Fucking simple..

So now it is the governments fault they are fat.

I wonder who they are going to be able to blame for their moustaches and other extraneous areas of hair.

Who are they going to find responsible for them all being "Fucking Ugly Bitches".

Its not their fault obviously 'cos they are the font of all that is good for us.

Its all very well talking about other foods but who is going to cook\prepare them. The majority of persons seem to have forgotten or never have been taught how to cook.

Saw another report today apparently it's costing the tax payers $900 mil a year treating fatties.

I'm quite happy with my son's school. It regulates where the parents quite obviously can't (or can't be arsed).

If you buy the kids lunch, on the menu are rolls and sammi's, at worst a muffin, no fizzy (YAY) milk drinks only!

Bit better than my day, where it was a pie and donut for lunch!

We are asked not to pack fizzy drinks, only juice or water. And no packaged foods! (chips, muesli bars etc)

As a parent, kids only eat what's in the cupboards, for goodness sakes, leave out the chips, bickies and fizzy, processed foods, and replace with ie; (ungodly inhale!) Sammi's, fruit, cheese, yogurt, crackers! If you don't buy it, it doesn't get eaten right?

It's imperitive that kids get good nutrition for behaviour purposes, as well as lifestyle choices. Kids that eat badly usually have low energy or have spiked energy which peaks and falls, you can see it!

Treats are ok now and then of course

    It's all bollocks really,

Us fat people are keeping the economy going, justifying the existance for at least 5 otherwise worthless government departments and spearheading the 'Bring Back Goergie Pie' campaign.

Plus, any skinny person I have ever met is either sad or on the way to sadness.

I like being a fat bastard, never done anyone any harm. I work for a living, have my health and walk a 21km half marathon every month. I train in aikido 2-3 sessions a week and the rest of the time I'm writing books and recording music. It's a great life.

As for the 'nocturnal activities', all is well in that dept. I may have only a 3" willy, but there is 120kg to push it in with...

So, FUCK OFF skinny sad politicians

    Personal responsibility.
    No?

What the fuck there to educate about anyway? If you want to get fatter eat more shit. If you want to get thinner, eat less pies and coke and exercise once in a while, it's that simple.

The thing is, it's all about choice. People are choosing to be fat and that's A-OK with me. Do whatever the hell you want with your own bodies, you deserve the right. Choosing for people is a big no-no.
Also, I deserve the right to laugh at your lard ass. You also deserve the right to knock me out and/or sit on me till I take it back.

    Freedom rules.
