In one of his books, he did emphasise that it was much safer to read about the underworld, rather than live it.

Let's face it, Chopper didn't give a f*ck about consequences....the law or pain, he didn't seem to be scared of anyone or anything....maybe an act, but a bloody good one. And the humour well......
