    2002 Yamaha R1 Streetfighter - $6,500

Yamaha R1 Streetfighter for sale, registered 2002, but I think its a 2001 model.

Profesionally painted Satin Black (has a scratch that will buff out)

All the normal SF stuff, has crash bobins that are not on the bike (included with sale).

Modified Scorpion exhaust (shortened), gives the bike a wicked sound (but still passes WoFs at Mt Eden Motorcycles).

    Micro indicators all round
    Tail Tidy (underseat fairing thing)
Almost new rear tyre (500kms max), front is probably fine for next WoF, but may need replacing depending on how hard you ride.

Comes with current WoF and Rego

Choke lever has broken off, still starts fine unless its VERY cold.

Small oil leak from the sump pan (see photo with V tray, thats about 6 months worth of the leak...so small its never concerned me enough to take sump off to put a new gasket on)

TrailTech Vapor Speedo, Rev counter is not working correct, needs a resistor wire to fix (have one in my house somewhere...lost it in a move)

Small amount of money is still owing on the bike, this will be paid before I sell it...Just been made redundent so that will pay for the rest of the loan...hence the reason for sale, otherwise this beast will still be in my garage.

In no real hurry to sell, just can't justify having this at the moment with the amount I ride.

    EDIT:
I also have 2 other headlight units that will go with the bike, one is not road legal (see avatar), the other is but have never used it so not sure if it even works (big dual light thing)
Race braided lines are also included with sale (has rubber crappy ones at the moment)

will post up better photos today, thats the best photo I have on this PC.

Bugga mate, thats a cool looking bike.

Good luck with the job hunt and/or sale of the R1.
