Yeh bad knees! Carted to many sheets of gib upstairs. They're quite bad some days but you get used to it so don't hobble that much mostly! Pain is my friend!!! LOL!!! Next day after Wires my right one decided it was to much and I haven't riden since. Sunday was my first time out since and only went for about 1 1/2 hours med pace! Although I must say the Sandpit was fair stomping. Just whooped out enough to make it fun and the sand was hard & FAAAST. Was bloody good!
See how we go on the 2 man not puting any pressure on though its Bj's first ever race and only my second so its a fun day for us??
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
Yeah it'll be my first if I decide to do it. Haven't commited yet but very tempted seeing as I've recovered from the lurgy and feeling fairly fit. My knees have blown too, mostly from too much club squash and have a game on Thursday, but other than that it's whether or not I go riding with the kids on Sunday or have the day to myself. Still deciding.
So these transponders, are they supplied by the organisers ?
Oh ..
So its really an hour a lap for mortals then .....You just start, ride like your bike is stolen for about 35min then tag your mate and he does the next lap.
LOL is that what Aaron's got his knickers in a twist about?? Just concentrate on racing mate!
i need a team mate for this.
probably in the novice or mixed class. never raced before, but i get around all right, but dont expect to win![]()
we may just go where no ones been
Thought you were entering with your old man?
Oldschool backed out so we need a team mate for the guy I jacked up as his partner
