No, there'd be no problem at all with 'abuse of system'...

Also training with a mentor? I can't see why not to be honest - an approved motorcycling mentor gives you a certificate stating you have completed a certain amount of hours and shown a certain degree of competence, surely that is as good a reason to allow sitting a full license sooner as passing a defensive driving course?

Actually guys there is NO WAY thats gonna ever happen. The amount of red tape it takes to get to be an approved ride instructor is phenominal. -Ohh and money
And re NASS again not a chance. The "training area" has to be osh approved--dya think a carpark will be osh aproved?
We DEFINITELY want to stay waay under offficialdoms radar sorry guys.
HOWEVER --I have issues with how the licence system works anyway.
I've always been of the opinion its not about time its about ability to prove competency.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

I have to agree with you there - what we really should have is a much more comprehensive evaluation of ability and when someone can pass that very tough evaluation they get a full license.

    in a word.

    pretty much.

But if there's one thing I've learnt about red tape, it's that there's always ways around it.
