we're looking at storm conditions later tonight, so while i'll be at kumeu at 7pm, we may just head straight east to the pub.

Just had a volly of pinecones hit my roof - upon inspection they're green and have actually broken off the tree somehow...

Nice...all I can see are glorious clouds. Considering my curfew I probably won't even go to the pub, lol! Damn learner restrictions...

Oh yeah, a car almost ran into me today. Partially my fault. They were slowing down heaps in front of me, and I got impatient and went up the side of them to overtake (still in the lane). I caught a glimpse of indicator and they turned suddenly, so I swerved around them. I should have thought, "They're slowing down, they've probably forgotten to indicate and are about to turn." Buuut I didn't so shame on me.

well i got as far as waitakere train station before chickening out - it is dangerously gusty out there tonight; the riffer was making wild leans and tracked all over the place!

but it was nice to hear the v4 note for the 10 minutes i was out, and holy shit i forgot how good those headlights are! new spring means i can turn highbeam off too

and yes, riding within the speed limit is much faster than taking the train from waitakere to swanson stations

Riding home from cycletreads (yay, new chain/sprocket now, and a new wing mirror) it was BLOODY blowing, massive lean at random times, moving halfway accross the lane. Geez

What is it with Honda switch springs? That's what was failing on Big Yellow's starter switch leading to headlight fail.

Stupid Honda springs...

trace, don't worry about 'taking it easy', you can't go slower than steven. You'd probably fall off from the lack of inertia, or else have to put a foot down

you mean to say some of you actually have working bikes?

yeah sweet as - im happy to play TEC this ride though.

well ill be there by 7pm, wait for a while to see if anyone else comes, then take off up SH16. see ya tomorrow

SH16....its basically a straight road.

Woodcocks road is good though..except for that sneaky railway crossing with the stop sign.
