And BMWST? Your right! There's a very good chance of bumping into others whilst out grabbing the Tags.

Cloggy! 3hrs 13mins. I spent over 3hrs on Sat and 4.5hrs Sunday getting them so if you can do it in that time you must be SPEEDING....

That's why I gave them early. So you could grab the local ones and plan the route for the rest. It's all about getting out there and

I've just finished creating a map with all of the exact tag locations on it. I'll post that up on #1 post on Sunday Morning(ish) before I go to Staglands.

I am sure it wont take that long,i know pretty much where i am going,will prolly do the hutt valley ones on the way on sunday so dont post the map up!
Make a google map but make it unlisted,then we can look on sunday?Do we need to sort anything with staglands?Will PM you i think

Made it back with the bike - thanks guys.

That'll teach me not to shut the engine off while tagging! Just wouldn't restart. I've got compression, fueI, but no spark. I think it's the hall sensor that triggers the ignition.

I don't really have the time to diagnose/fix this and get back on the tagging horse for this weekend, so that's me out for now. Yesterday was s'posed to be my big push to get 'em all. Got 15 after all that. Maybe I shoulda trailered past the remaining ones!

might be the coil....try swapping just the coil from teh other bike....

Well, the bike runs. Apparently the ignition control unit is what left me stranded yesterday. Replaced it with a spare today and the engine is boxing happily again.

But I'm out for a while regardless, cause this has been a little bit of a wake-up call for me. I've been riding around with no WOF or reg. so I consider my luck pushed.

No more tagging for me till she's all legal!

i got my first three up!.Wifey has the camera today so my plans for world domination have been thwarted,had a plan to get another two or three tonight....No one else has posted pics.Are you waiting till you have got them all?

I have them all too, even made my bike look just like hawkeyes - went that extra yard with the "Reproduce the picture as best as possible" rule. Havent quite worked out how this is supposed to play out since the plan was to collect the Non local Tags on the way to the meet on the weekend - I guess the most important part is "The MEET".

The original idea was to create a Treasure Hunt which could be followed to finish at Staglands so we could all meet. I was going to put a KB tag with a 'special code' at each site forcing you to have to visit the site to get it. Therefore you would have a week to track down the locations to plan your route, but needed to pick up the tag on the day.
But with everyone being so wide spread, the logistics got too complex for the time I had available this week-end. I would have had to visit every tag location very early on Sunday to drop the tag off.

So for a bit of fun, I chose the current theme of just find all 25 tags.

The MEET is the important thing (and getting out on the bike).
