Good result Deano, all that talk about stiffening up in the front is a bit disconcerting though for a genteel old chap like me.

Yes, .95s. A little more oil will help, starting at 5mls as you say. But maybe also worth trying another 1/2 to 1 turn on the preload of the emulator poppett springs.

Thanks Robert, now I gotta pull the forks apart again!

Walks off wondering if he cant fish the emulator out with some type of hook.

I am having way more fun this year as I am dicing with other racers. Last year I always ended up in a big open space.

We drained the oil dropped the sump and had to remove the crankshaft to get the piston out. Then the problem was obvious. Fouled sparkplug!

Get a piece of 1.6 welding wire and bend the end enough to get into the emulator enough to fish it out.

Good to see you up onto the podium Deano! Thats were I was expecting you to be every round this year.

Cheers Garry. It's not quite as 'prestigious' with Sam and Jarrod not there.

With them gone my goal was (is) 2nd overall this year, but young Ash Payne looks like he is doing all he can to spoil that party.

He was a very quick club motocrosser before seeing the light.
