Great ride to 287. Da rain looked to close for the Taupo road so we went North. Good food and good company. 4 bikes went north.
I hate the SV set-up. Nice for riding two up with the panniers but a bit quicker ride with that set-up is not nice. Will have to soften the rear and firm up the front.
Hope you all got a great ride today.

Aye George...... you should have put the face in or we might think you prefer Golf to bikes. And that would be sad…………..

Headed to Tarawera, but got cold and started to drizzle, so turned back to Glengary Rd. A bit agricultural with quite a bit of cowshit and the odd patch of gravel. Then to Puketapu pub via Applely Rd. Then a quiet ride to Classic Club for a bourbon.

We had a good feed there yesterday but at $19.00 for an all day breaky with tea for one I have to ask if it is good value. Yes plenty on the plate so you get up full and happy but $19.00?
Have a good ride as that road is in top condition. Clean and shingle free.
Lots of Goats, we came to a standstill as they crossed the road, and turkeys on the road yesterday with one sheep added to the mix. One bacon at Tangoio.
It is going to be another cracker day. Off to buckets with the youngest son. To have a look and maybe inspire him to finish his bike………………….
