    Looks like what what was common fitment to the RF900 and possibly Bandit 1200. I think they are all 3 bolt whereas I think the GSXR's are 4 bolts.

    Bash plate - I lost the 3 bolts to refit it.Found them now. I decided to change the oil whilst the bash plate was off.
    The speedo drive is a bit of a bugger.It's the female end in the speedo head- it's rounded and wont spin any more.Aclever man would know how to fill the end with epoxy- leaving a square section in it. I'm not that clever man, Im fu.... stupid sometimes and this is one of those times. I'd irrevocably glue the entire front end together.
    Nice bike on the photo - made me feel better already!

    Buggs, you need this, though it is for an RD07 not an 04

    There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

    They are cool, I looked at doing a Marathon style upgrade to my RD04 but by the time I priced up the suspension upgrades I was already almost at the price of a 950 and with everything else I was at the price of a 990, still would have been nice.

    @speedo

    Anyone got an RD04 who would be willing to pop the speedo head out- just enough to read the serial No. ans maker? Hopefully the maker is NS. Im speedo-less at the moment and can only findone off an RD04 whereas mine's an 07 and the head's serial HP0281003. Cheers Steve

    Isn't the RD04 gauge bigger than the RD07?
    I'm sure a trip to a Honda wrecker will find a gauge off any number of Hondas that will be the same.
    I'd try asking the question on xrg.org.uk Im sure you will find what bikes shared the same one.
