Had a bourbon at my uncles funeral middle July, first one since June, nothing since.Still have beers in fridge from April scary that. Can reccomend my specialty of a Gasoline shooter-1 shot tequila and 1 shot of southern comfort, takes a few to get taste of,by that time you're pretty pissed. Not to be taken in conjunction with chemo(can encourage extreme chundering),they(oncologists) never told me not to drink(well they did but not that much),lesson learnt.

I have to be there every time, they pay me. That is if they want me again this year, haven't heard yet.

Has some good perks though. Get to talk shit to other petrol heads, get in for free, get to see some racing

Then they give me money (not much, but it is the thought that counts).

Be good if they don't start till later this year though. It gets a bit cold at start and end of season.

Yeah those 3pm starts will. But just can't bring myself to chuck it. There are always morning rides.

Is it security side, was asked to help at the champs last year, wanted to watch lol,not worry about pissed wankers.

The perks of free entry is good, not cheap at times $40-60 including programmes, food for 2.

Still if it covers petrol and really people do it for love of the game/sport.

Same as when crewing, pay to get in and only really watch the stockcars(or class you work in) then fix it or prepare for next race, don't get to see the meeting, but have to pay to help provide the service.

So whats the date of the first friday night ride? Been awhile since a decent group ride other than charity stuff.

I am happy to report that what I hope is a mutually acceptable agreement was reached this morning.

Maybe I will regret this post, maybe I won't.

However, it is time to lay down the foundations of goodwill and enjoy the rest of our lives (yeah, yeah, I know it's cryptic)
