If the driving tyres are almost worn I'd worry. At 150kms - ask why and get some free shit off them

But rather than looking at the negative side - is the car great and is she otherwise happy with it? If so then just enjoy the experience of having a new car!
new vechiles use to be driven (very carefully) back from Wellington to Napier and still sold as new. with what was called delivery miles on them before they bought in transporter trucks

Stop going to useless dealers then -a decent dealer can save a shed load of hassles and provide a few guarantees too - but you pay for that priviledge.

Mate has a guarantee at a Holden dealer for servicing it & it isn't worth the paper its written . He has told them to fuck off they are that bad & is the warrantys . I'll keep doing things my way & save money all the same Cheers

Sold a winning raffle ticket 25 yrs ago to inlaws(at the time)car was a Toyota Corolla, not much good as a tow car,it came with wof and rego etc as per raffle, unfortunately when they traded it in because it had 120km(they lived 15km from town)and having to drive into town for promo pics etc,it was classed as 1 owner. What happened was they traded their older car plus new one(which they did)on a larger carona. However the dealer principle said if they hadn't regod the corolla they could've transferred the on road costs to the Carona and be given a better trade in.Off hand the car went on sale for $1000 less than new price, but trade in was $2000 less.

Yep true for my mate,he bought a new Commodore SV6 Crewcab after going to V8 supercars in Hamilton, even goes there for servicing, rather than local dealers in the Naki.Just to keep warranty valid, but has a SS 2004 for his work ute which a local MTA guy works on,but can't do warranty work apparently.

Interestingly my old firm had Holden Cargo vans, mine needed 120000km service,so dropped it into local dealer here,1&3/4hr labour, oil, filter and $288 plus gst.And according to worklist done, tyres checked, fluids checked, etc.

Turned out no tyre check,as I had put spare tyre on with little tred, and lower pressure, put mark on window washer container, put little marks on tyre valves, guess what no tyre check, either pressures or change faulty tyre, washer water bottle was lower not full. And the invoice stated this was completed.

When I asked why these hadn't been done I was fobbed off for being incorrect, all items checked, had taken pics of my work,i.e spare wheel was easy to see as both spare and on car,I had paper of the day and camera had date on pics, went and emailed dealer, nice reply was given explaining blah blah.If they state we have done this as per service they better do it was my reply, not all are as pedantic as me,and it wasn't my money lol.Comes back to trust, the reason why I do minor maintanence on my car,why pay an apprentice to change filter and oil at $90p/h,and take 1&1/2 hour to do.Didn't matter as they changed to Toyotas for fleet shortly afterwards.

And people wonder why Holden are in the shit. Their after sales have a lot to be answered for. Ohh, and half their line up is out dated and outclassed Korean crap but thats another story.
