Probably restricted due to homologation rules

I think you would place your fate in the hands of the steward when you got protested if you showed up with one.
    The rule book says:

    1 Capacity
    700cc - Open 4-stroke 3 & 4 Cylinder
    800cc - Open 4-stroke Twin Cylinder

Upper capacity is open, no? Or did I get that wrong?

There is nothing on the MNZ site to say anything to confirm any rule changes FACT

As racers we are supposed to only listen to MNZ as to what to do FACT

Trouble is to learn anything we the riders need to know we end up getting most of the info 2nd hand because its not readily available from the source FACT

That is why I have followed with interest and been in contact with Paul S and MNZ about it......................................my rants nearly over too.................point being that it shouldn't be as hard as it is to find anything out about OUR own sport

Nothing half cocked in my reply Tony, just Facts. Try a Telephone to get the awnsers some time mate, Paul works for Honda. NOT MNZ

So where's the numpty option then for us talent challenged individuals who'd like to go and play on some unfamiliar tracks in a support class? I'm hoping to join the travelling circus and just enter Clubman's type classes. I'm slow enough at tracks I know, you'd need an hour glass to time me at somethin' different.

Probaby better to just go to a club day at those tracks you haven't been to before.
National level races are exactly that, national level. I mean this in a non smart arse way. There are club days on everywhere all the time.

Go do the Nats in Superbike bro, they need the numbers, and you'll get so much faster you'll shit your pants.

The rules for these classes are on the MNZ website and have been for months.
Go to the site, click on information, click on proposed rule changes, scroll down and there they are.

Whaaaat, and pay 3 lots of ferry tickets over the course of a year rather than one lot and fit in 3 tracks in just over 2 weeks....?

I know all about the Winter Series YOUNG fullah . I'm just a late starter, realistic about my pace, and don't get to race that often, so I'd just like to go down and cheer on the fast fookers and do a few skid's on some new tracks while I'm there. If they're running Clubman's I'll be in, if not, I'll have a think about propping up the Nat's class.....gawd help us all.
