its just silly, drags off most cars, 100kph on the clock

    from a 3x jog
Wow !!! Mine hasn't even got a "clock" that goes that high .... !! Mine only shows up to 60kmh. ...... and definitely goes quicker than that. I'd say about 65 - 68Kmh at a guess. Mine is stock standard. The only thing missing is the "washer" / restrictor at the exhaust.

My question to those of you in the know .... is what do you have to do ? What are the results ? And how much does it cost ?

Is Scootling .... the place to get the work done, or can any Yamaha dealer do the work ?

I'm in Whangarei, have a good Yamaha dealership here, but I haven't approached them yet to inquire if they can do the work.

My Jog is new, and has not yet had it's first service, as it's done just under 700km to date. Does that make any difference ? Should I wait for a certain mileage ?

Thanks for any input. I don't want to spend a heap on it, as it's just my commuter, but as I have a couple of decent hills and a 70km zone to travel through, I would like to be able to tweak it up a bit .... still get reasonable gas/mileage .. and not make it unreliable by modifying it. Is that achievable ??

    Thanks.
Just run it will be quicker
