Question Where can I buy a bag/pack for this?

    Hi all.

I currently have a GN 250 that I bought a rack for off TradeMe. The rack was a steal at just $5.

I've attached a couple of pictures of the rack on my bike so you can see what it looks like.

Now, with it bolted up to my bike all I need is a pack for it. But I've looked around a bit and I can't seem to find one that suits. All I can really find are Ventura packs, and as this isn't a Ventura rack (it's quite a bit bigger) the packs don't fit on it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some information about where I can find a pack to fit this rack? Or is there a specific style I need to look for or something?

As it only cost me $5 I'm not attached to it or anything, but I'd rather use this one than have to drop the $$$ for a Ventura one if possible.

    Thanks for any help.

Rjays makes packs that fit on racks like that.

    Damn that was quick!

    Thanks, I'll check it out.

Did you move this thread to the proper place too? I don't think I posted here. If so, thanks!

It can go on either way. Do you reckon it should be the other way around?

Those racks are great. You can attach just about anything to it using bunjees.

Only thing, getting on and off the bike can be a real problem (for me).

It's a ventura rack, just an old one. The aero packs won't fit but the bathurst one they do probably will if they still sell it.

I have a rack like that on the Volty and my RJays pack fits well. I have the rack turned the other way most of the time, to make getting on and off the bike easier. But when I have 30kg or so of groceries in the pack (or my heavy old sewing machine!) I turn it around like this so the weight is further forward.

Yep, sure is. The packs are still available - either of the 'classic' tagged packs will fit. Available through any motorcycle shop.
