So far I have resisted the urge to take to them with my boom stick...

and yes, I do recall doing anti-social things myself at a similar age - not the same things, but antisocial nonetheless...like blasting a car through an uncontrolled intersection at sixty miles an hour without bothering even to look for traffic...ffs!

Im all for the crushing law, harsher penalty's for people who do stupid shit but dont punish the majority that dont
However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

Im think the same applies for annoying bikers to actually, any menace on the road should be dealt with, large groups of bikers racing on the road should get their bikes crushed to as far as Im concerned, just cause you ride two wheels dont make you any different to a boy racer with 4, even if this is a biker website.............there ya go smash me on that one fellas lol

Arnt there already laws to stop peolpe being a menace, like loss of traction. They should be enforced better, dont create new laws that only hurt our freedom.

No! New laws and driving it underground is the answer just look at how well behaved christchurch boy racers have been since they stopped them going into the city! It will stop everyone from drifting and speeding totally!

Fuck the anti cruising law. we are in NZ which is ment to be a free country. limiting people driving round in their cars is shit. if they abuse or threaten the public then that should be covered by the existing laws for that. I had a 97 wrx sti. not one ticket. just liked having a nice car. yeah cops pull you up every night still. check your licence, give a breath test, check wof, rego, even tyre tread. i said you can check my oil and water too if you want
    Thats whats up.

No one is really free in NZ but these assholes would like it to be even more restricted.

Well that's your opinion, but personally I think that seeing as it is a social problem, society needs to work on it, rather than giving the govt. an even brighter green light to act as Stalinistic as they like before it causes them too much trouble

My idea is a law..........societies voice administered through the law of our country enforced by our police force..............what do you advocate?

So people shouldn't be allowed to go out one night a week and drive round with there friends. Park up and look at what other people have done to express themselves via there cars/bikes. Cars driving in a group is similar to bikes riding in groups. Granted a car uses more space but should we be unable to do that just because it's instantly assumed that where going out to do skids or drag.

I am sick of getting stereotyped for what I drive (in saying that last cop that checked my car said that they don't normally go after mine ) anyway everyone speeds at some time 5km over is still speeding. I know some guys that are considered Boy Racers/Hoons do over this but alot of it now is out of the way.

Also alot of the crews are stopping the dangerous people coming out and are monitoring whats happening. We now go to out of way places and cause very little trouble. The christchurch issue has angered alot of people and that behaviour is not tolerated by most groups.

All these new laws are going to do is cause people who know there car will be crushed is make them run which will put more people in danger and involve higher speed.

Everyone is intitled to think what they want but don't lump everyone into the same group.

Also the amount of cars that come out now that people are more orginized is increasing and if 120+ cars decide to do what they want most cops will have trouble dealing to them all.

All you see from giving a govt. more power is more corruption, and no change to the problem. So I advocate social change for a problem one perceives. Most of the time societies don't have their voice administered via law which is then administered by the current government... Politicians share their voice through law. A lot of the time, I mean, not for every example you can think of (I know someone was looking for an example to pull out of their pocket to prove me wrong before reading this last sentence).
