A ground mat and pillow. Couldnt sleep both nights due to that.

Thankfully I splashed out and bought a very very nice self inflating pillow and ground mat.

It will carry everything you need.

Stop worrying about some luggage ruining your image, or sleep in the cold

Lol. Rob can teach you how to use bungees and cargo nets.

Not long now people! Be aware that cycletreads is doing a Cold Kiwi theme night on Thursday from 7-9pm. If you want to enterburn outs, you can buy a new tyre there & they will fit it on site. Specials on heated grips etc.

I wonder if I should get heated grips? Mind you my hands haven't been feeling cold this winter so apart from the Cold Kiwi I don't generally need them.

What sort of speed are you guys going to be riding down at? I usually try to keep under 110kph to save on fines & demerit points.

No need for heated grips then, just warm gloves will do it for you , I'm sure everyone will keep under 100, ginger is watching you

The Cycletreads promo thing is Thurs 3 Sep. Speeds on main roads no more than the speed limit tolerance, plenty of back roads tho I'm bearing in mind that there will be lots of enforcement officers around.

Will have planned stops at Te Awamutu (gas) Kihikihi (pies) Tokoaanu (more gas) the the Site. We will regroup at the major intersections so no one gets lost.
