Might not be that simple. You do not need an easement to run your own personal supply over your property. The easement could be for general supply or for a neighbours supply but if , like my mate, you are the first to get the power connected, you will have to buy a transformer. It cost him 10g and he was told that as the neighbours connected, they would have to reimburse him. Not a good situation esp if you fall out with them.

I wouldn't even waste my energy on looking at a piece of property being claimed by a group of people .. exception would be Nudists, Im sure we could come to a compromise
