Well I was going to post the photo-shopped picture of Max Biaggi sponsored by Kleenex.......

But google just asked me if I meant to search for Rossi or provided porn......

Maybe that's where Stoner and his wife could make a bit of coin?

    Where is Gibernau these days?

    That's out the window now.

The only person who know's if your up to it is YOU yourself. For Kev to question another riders desire to race is a complete "fuck you" moment to me.

Anyone remember when Wayne Rainey was paralysed in that accident at Misano which effectivley handed the Championship to Schwantz? And Kev himself said he might chuck it in at that time?

I'm still a Schwantz fan,but for him to sit in judgement not knowing the full story is absolute bullshit to me.

    100% agree with you.
I had an Aria in his colours too (but i rode a Honda )
Lets wait till the return of Stoner before we all judge his ability to go hard again.
There have been tuff racers for decades riding with broken legs , arms , shoulders , ribs and all sorts of physical and mental issues in the way but there is only one body on the line , so only one person can decide if they ride or not.
Its not fair to be a fan of a rider only if they are winning.

Assuming that you aren't referring to the music, I have a Rossi hat and currently ride a Ducati. Who cares what the pedants make of it, it's your money... *

This is actually something that is apparently really important to Stoner. He is pissed-off that when he was winning everybody wanted a piece of him, but when he stopped winning people were much less anxious to meet or greet him.

All of which seems just a bit odd, because he says he hates all the attention.
He is a latter day Greta Garbo.

I've never met the boy of course but the sum total of what I've read does make him appear somewhat ummm precious(?). Notwithstanding that Mum and Dad made major sacrifices to get him started on his way to the top, perhaps he would benefit from some time away from them about now?

    * I'd happily wear a Bayliss hat, but I wouldn't want a Stoner hat thanks...

I dont think we have the full story on stoner yet. That boy hasnt been right since Laguna 2008. No doubt about him being quick but his mind set is all over the place. Most fans appear to struggle to support him or give him the respect that he deserves. He may well go down as a flash in the pan world champ or as the rider that helped Ducati steal a march in the 1st year of the 800s. I hope he comes back because we need him and Lorenzo to keep Rossi honest.
Please sir I would like some more

I think individuals can 'ride around' an injury. But if that ínjury' is in your head thats a different kettle of fish! The Psychy is a tender piece of kit and if it aint in the right space your fucked.
The whole picture isn't out there about Stoners problem but assuming its not all physical I think its a good thing he's not out there dicing at 300+ k's.

Common you lot - he's probably got a bad dose of Man-flu.

There is no way that you can go to work when you have Man-flu.

    He needs some Lem-sip - fixes Man-flu a treat

    Choosing my words carefully here,

I am of the opinion that Casey Stoner is simply a "victim" of the Aussie high performance sports academy.

World champ MotoGP racers arent' made, they are born.

    HOWEVER,

Young Casey Stoner received the best "training" the world can offer, and a that level not many people can "handle it"

Just imagine what goes through that young guys mind every second of every day.

Rossi, as we all know can "handle it", that is why he is a "true champion"

    Gibernau
    Hayden
    Stoner

All 3 FANTASTIC riders, but simply have shown that there is a (VERY) small percentage of people in this world that can run at this level for much more than a year.

Doohan, he was another one, he was able to run hard for years, and went out in style as well (ironically he was an Aussi!)

I don't think it is fair to make statements telling these guys to "harden up"

On their "softest" day, they are 1000 times harder than any of us mortals!

    My ten cents worth.....

Love him or hate him, the lad can ride when he wants to... and is able to.
Now, we have all seen guys ride around injuries....

BUT what Stoner has I feel is far more serious than what has been released.... FAR MORE.

I feel our mate Kevin may well have a big humble pie to eat in the future with the comments he has made....

Maybe Kev should join kiwibiker so he can get the full story rather than his useless inside info from merely being activily involved in MotoGP. Kev has always been strongly opinionated, and hardly ever wrong.
