    Well done on the kilometrestone....

BUT, 2 Shocks, and two left fork seals?? What about the right one?
4 chains? did you replace the sprockets?

And 4 Brake Pads for the front? Were they made of cheese?

Sorry if it sounds like I'm giving you a hard time, it is just not the frequency of consumables I would expect.

I believe gw555 does a lot of commuting Aaron. Stop/starting/constant cage avoidance wears out consumables a lot more than long distance stuff.

As for the seals, I've had a similar experience on my CB750. It's due for its second left fork seal at 130,000kms. In that time its gone through 2 right hand ones. You don't have to replace both seals at the same time, although its a good idea replace the fork oil on both at the same time.

Reason for 2 shocks is that I knew when I bought the bike they were having problems with shocks so the first was replaced at 9900km, second at 60000km (approx).

Fork seal was replaced and within a week it was leaking again so something wrong with part - that was about 55000km ago

As far as brake pads go - dont know?? I tend to only use the front brake - except in emergencies which is probably why I am only on the second set lol.. and as has been said I do do 400km a week commuting

25000ks for the brake pads and chain isn't that bad is it?

Congratulations gw555, you have every right to be pleased with yourself and your bike!

100,000km in commuting conditions of today with so little trouble is excellent.

Just out of curiosity! How many infringements did you incur in that time?

    Thanks!!!

Didn't actually receive any infringements - just got stopped a couple of times and spoken to about going a wee bit over the limit

Yes absolutely agree - if something doesn't seem right fix it because it will only get worse.

As I said previously the bike has been serviced every 4000km as per the recommendations.
