    Legend!
That's a handy piece of kit in your arsenal there Underground, if ya don't have a enduro track handy, grade your own. Bulldozers kick arse!
I'll be out on my next days off to give it the once over....or twice over.

    Hira on Sat...

    I'm very sore today still...

A bit of good old ATC2K footage out the back until my leg knocked the mount upside down and I had to put it away.
The end clips were with the Panasonic SDR SW-20 which I quite like at the moment.

You can tell when I'm in 3rd gear alright

    Note to self...
Carry more momentum. Use the 1.5L water bladder...

    Nice wicked Hill climb....

That looks really steep because it is on the back of the bike or is it steep?
Nice riding....Man, I gotta get down there...

That first hill is Hurricane Hill.
Put a guy in Burwood a few weeks ago when he didn't slow down at the top and turn sharp right and I think he got kicked off by the lip and went down the other side.

Yes, that can happen on hills for sure. Concentrate on getting to the top, build revs, second, third and whoah! there is the crown and a sharp turn...
Guess the recon is paramount or listen to the locals...

Okay Baitches - you got visitors coming....

On Friday (provided my notoriously unreliable friend doesn't bail) I'm coming down to Waikfield on the back of a Scrambler to pick up said friends new to him Norton Commando Adventure bike (yes really - it has a 21" front wheel, bash plate, high pipes etc).

Apparently we are spending Friday night in Nelson and Saturday night near Takaka catching probably a 6 ish ferry home on Sunday.

Can anyone suggest a decent days riding for these sorts of bikes on the Saturday? Of course anyone is welcome to join in for a days riding on Saturday and or Sunday (maybe including Cobb Reservoir?).

Provided the Norton keeps running and is not too much of a pig we'll prolly do the Maungatapu on the way back to Picton so we might need some pushers.....

    cheers

Nope, no good riding around here. What gave you that idea?

Well, not for me, my days off are Thurs/ Fri, dammit. I might sneak out to French Pass to see Underground.
I'm sure Nordie, Woody or Padmei will happily play follow the leader.

Be warned, the Mangatpu hole has got big and very gooey, the Trumpet might get stuck. See Nordie's pics from the other day.

catching 6 oclock ferry back so working backwards means starting the Maunatap about 1ish?

adv riding a Norton could cause me to use all my undies and have to ride 'commando' style.

Maybe a quick coffee/lunch in Nelson before that?
