Hi,
I was wondering what tyres and sizes people were running on standard 18 inch sopked wheels.
Cheers

Should read "spoked"![]()
I've been using bt45's 100/90, 90/90, I used to use dunlop tt900 good if you can find em.
Ive heard that too, but you can't really tell untill you go and hit up someone who can get dunlops in.
Basically everyone used to use them on RG150's/KR150's but ive noticed a decline over the last couple of years.
The BT39SS seems to be the way too go these days. You can get them in 18's. I hear they are pretty sticky too.

I'm curious about the sizing. My bucket has a 2.75 x 18 front and a 3.00 x 18 rear. But, my parts bike has 3.00 x 18 front and a 3.25 x 18 rear.
Are they similar to 100/90 or 90/90?
I use BT45's on my road bike and like them.
The bucket has a BT39 on the front, and a perilli city demon on the back.

That sounds a lot bigger than what im running,
Im not sure about the proper sizing,
but im running 1.40 x 18 front(90/90/18) and 1.60 rear(100/90/18).
Not sure how the measurments are taken cause when I throw my rule across the rim it comes up with a much bigger no.
But thats just what is stamped into the rim.
I brought a new bt45 and for the cost wish I had just spent $$ getting 17" rims instead, but alas they work great for me and I might as well get my moneys worth out of em!!
