oh hell yeah. thats where the "feeling" gets odd. Full brake is only like 2cm on the lever and it doesnt hit the bars anymore

HH pads are soft race(ish) compound, so those km's you did are quite good really, for that spec pad.
o man! I got that wrong... I thought HH were touring high distance pads.

Well, last time I replaced the Discs on the CBR with some Metal Gear ones... I smoked the brand new Metal Gear pads within 90 miles around Manfeild!
A good story for the pub that one....
Replaced them with my old 1/2 worn pads, and they lasted for ages...
My new set has lasted quite a few track days....
Can't really say how long they will last, and to be fair, the track time is in no representative of a normal life....
There is only one way I can keep up with the big bikes on track days.....
