    I just crashed...Twice

Just went out on my scooters maiden run after finished building it and crashed twice.

I spent the day riding out to kawakawa bay on a scooter with some friends, scooter went well, then coming through auckland i thought it would be a good idea to stop at the loydelsmore bus carpark to have a little racing comp around the islands. bad idea, lowsided at decent speed and gave my helmets visor and jacket some road rash, then riding back home through elerslie i wasnt paying attention and still a little shaken from the first accident, i rode straight into an island and went over the handle bars.

however at the end of the day only thing really hurt is my pride and learnt a few things i shouldnt do.

Well at least ya weren't too badly injured. I find it always better to let the blood settle after a crash before getting back on the seat.. unless of course it was the time my bike was too farked to get back on! then I just layed on the side of the road for a wee bit. Didn't help that the old collar bone was bent. ahh yeah the good old days.

Was this on Milfhunter? So howd it go? Speed acceleration etc? You got more to do on it, or just crash repairs?

Should be proud to have a gash on your knee. I did once, but she got off and went home with someone else.

Yeah the milfhunter. all done now, out to kawakawa bay i was accelerating quickly to 80kms, will cruise happily on the flat just under 90kms. and hit 120kmh down hill. Its still a tad rich 1/2 throttle, and i think i need to adjust the valve gaps. did about 200kms on it today. only crash damage was on the exhaust a bit on the frame, seat and 1 indicator. other than that all good.

Wear a Superman costume, and you can claim your 'flight' was intentional
RSV Mille: No madam, its an Aprilia, not a Harley. If it were a Harley, I would be pushing it !
