Life is not mesured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
I'll start but it will take me a while. Im up to 3 photos and Im already sick of it lol. I think you might just be able to see the photos with this link, try it anyway. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...0&l=0803d6df45
My 1st coldie, had a good time but didn't meet many people, too busy eating and keeping warm! Met Carver and Thani-B with Korumba[Wasn't you violating the R1 up the hill was it?] The weather was perfect, couldn't get better!

Feck yeah, We're the Champs! Thanks for the great weekend everyone, it's the people that make rallies like this so enjoyable.
Warren & I got back to Auckland via the Gentle Annie & Napier. What a magnificent day.

Dash it we missed each other
My first too, a delayed arrival but had a great time:
Thanks to Horse for insisting that I went and for the pre-leave brekkie:
Thanks to the 2 x Robs and Garry on his gorgeous new Thunderbird for the escort up, your idea of pootling stretched me a little
The Napier boys picked me up in Waioru and it was onto the gravel and into the rum
Awesome site, shame I couldn't manage two weiners at once but I will be better next year cause I am gonna practice. I won't blame Grant for his riding, quite liked the Kitana to be honest.
Good on the KB pullers in the TOW
Thanks to Gerbil and Blacksheep for not exacting revenge on the furry rally hat, I definately needed it here!!!!
Thanks to Charlie41 for sharing the tent, nice to hear the wellington boys spent their night listening for anything to feed their dirty little two girl fantasies. Too busy sleeping and freezing my toes off. You'll be pleased to hear that Charlie spent half the night on top thou
Buell had a poorly bike before we even made Fields Track on Sundaybut I know he got home safe and sound. I was getting a soft spot for that bike as well. Told him he should get a Triumph.
Spirited run home via Fields Track, Fordell Valley and Vinegar hill. I sooo lovemy bike (just incase anybody didn't know) and windy roads
Jared talked himself into giving me track day advice too so all in all a bloody good result.
I will wear a name badge and be more outrageous next time so we don't miss each other. I had the furry hat on and a bright blue T-shirt.

My editing program is processing 544 RAW files into JPEG and adjusting where I've told it to do so.
When it's done, I'll start posting some of my Cold Kiwi shots here
I checked out your link and see that you were camping by the old guy with the 700 Enfield twin? We were next to him by the drain tailings. You must have been able to smell our baked beans cooking in the morning! Anyway, the old guy was at the 1st ever CK and had the photos to prove it!

I have transferred my pics to my PC and had a look through them - picked a few I likes, crap 118 pics! I'll have to go through them a couple more times and cut down the number before putting them on my website. In the meantime I'll post up a few here. I have already gotten Irfanview to batch process the 118 to make them a more KB friendly res.
Here's the first few. Pic 1 & 2 are from the Autobahn Papakura before we headed down.
