Yeh I agree. I enjoyed my also.

I just think having a 65KG rider on such a powerful bike is abit overkill, where as a 200/250EXC are more mellow/more manageable.

I'm 65 Kg on a heavy day and I love my 250 2 strokes. My CR has a pipe but no flywheel weight and it's easily manageable. I'd much rather have excess power (that can be tamed down if need be) than not enough!

The Ktm200 Hundy is surprisingly torquey with a 125 size frame and still plenty of zap as well. You very very seldom have to clutch it out of turns or to get up hills in the sand. I had an 01 CR250 and find the Ktm much more user friendly for the woods etc. Not that the Cr didn't do the job quite well but the Ktm200 just is much easier for me. You can still wang it like a 125 if you want.
I got one and like it so I won't crack on to much but at least go try one. There's been plenty of threads on here about them.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

The YZ will probably feel faster but you'll probably set better terrain test times on the excs. Lots of power isn't always the answer when you are talking about 3-4 hour races.

Yeh thats what I was gonna say.

When I had my 200EXC I felt as though I could chuck it on my back and carry it around hahah, light and nimble. Plenty of power though _b

ive noticed that for some reason the 4strokes are usually cheaper than the 2 strokes, when buying 2nd hand.
