    "..apart from that?"

So, you're not keen on Maori folk then?

Shouldn't this be in the Monty Python thread?

Alot of Maori yeah. Well you have the Awatapu & Churchill st crips. The meatsacks which is a bunch of white boys who always drink and smoke weed and P. The clubs suck. Its small as it takes 10 minutes to do a lap around the whole town. But its a good place. Friendly locals are common, minus the idiots
    Thats whats up.

Anyone would think areas of aforementioned nature have appaulingly high crime rates or something?! Well for the way it was worded one would be thinking along those lines......

Of course that would'nt/could'nt be true now could it?

I heard the local Ngati Awa iwi need some fresh white meat!

You guys should work at Waikato Hospital for a month then you will change your opinion on Maori-TRASH!
There are some good Maori doing the right thing, I'm not saying that, but far to many of them think they should be served like gods and not apply to the system, FFS.

Never used to be, see, this dude called Tane (back in 1878) arrived in the area in a Waka (A Maori Canoe) and some other people arrived in the area from over a nearby hill 2 months later and found Tane alone on the beach. They aksed him, ''wheres ya Waka Tane''?? hence the name. The strange part about this story is, Tane had come from Thauranga, just up the coast. They have since dropped the 'H' because it was thought that, most that lived there spoke with a lisp.....

Tane later moved inland to a place called Atua, he claimed that as his, and to this day its called Taneatua. Theres a rail/road bridge close by which was Tane's idea in the early 1900's, he was a very insightful chap. The eastern BOP is a cool place with one draw back, if White Island was to ever explode, those the live on the caost line will have about 9 mins to get out.
