put it this way, they're each worth less than my bike. and always will be.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.

LOL so is ours. KTM950 and LWB 90's Vitara. Almost a 3:1 ratio in terms of cost. In terms of ride comfort, fun etc etc a billion:1 The scary bit though is that the 950 uses almost as much juce as the Vitata, 6.5l/100km and 8l/100kms respectively. Wish the 1600 G16A Suzi motor was still available in a more modern chassis - fuel effecient and quite lively given the lump it is shifting. Hints of bike technology in there I reckon.

'97 Subaru Forester 2ltr Turbo manual, in black of course.

302,000 km's & the motor still runs sweet. Pity a wheel bearing & at least one CV have decided to pack it in in the last week.

03 Subaru Impreza STI (I am a boy racer at heart....) or a 1.3 Corolla that I share with my Partner (and you really notice the difference with acceleration between the two!)

The STI makes the Corolla feel gutless just like the 990 makes the DR feel gutless.

By the way the STI could be for sale if anyone is keen..

The Transalp is our car, and for everything else we have mountain bikes. Cycle to work, walk to the shops, get hardware and furniture delivered. Very rarely do either of us regret not having a car, although my last car, a Mazda MX-3 was pretty enjoyable to drive (albeit thirsty).
