    Kaikoura, 27th September

So I'm going to go up and get a cray.

I do not know the way beyond the leader valley, nor the best route, perhaps some suggestions?

it was a toss up between this and going to the salmon farms.

so you want to go up to Kaikora via the inland route,
Ambeley, waipara, rothereham, Mt lyford , Kaikora. then home via the coast?,
Or up the coast, then back via the inland Mt Lyford route, then across to Parnasses via the Leader road, then back to ChCh.
Or ChCh Parnassas, inland to MtLyford, Kaikora via the inland road, return to ChCh via the coast
Any combination of the above can be worked out.
Any which way sounds good to me, so I could be a starter for that Dave

Oh no!! Give someone knows my roster and even if its not on the board can either extrapolate the day or check the copy on the network I guess I am in.

Now I just need to get someone to pack a lunch for me.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

for anyone who doesnt want to part with $40 for a cray there ought to be some sort of bbq/fire with a grill to cook up a saussie

if weather is shit which it's looking like it might be....then i dunno ill cross that bridge when i get there.

I would like to know which way you plan on going as well.
I realise the weather can change things on the day.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

Just to forewarn you. The Waipara Vintage Festival is on this weekend at the weka pass so the traffic will possibly be heavy.
