it's been made public before but for those who might have missed it, i'm from the mediterranean, i can sip short black over an hour, easily

i CAN get up early but then need to take a hot drink with me to sip whenever we stop. and then i always get told off for doing the "bloody european thing" as they call it.

just ask any of the guys...

    psy,
Short black and sipper bottle. Sorted.
Except don't buy one of these, the price, please be seated, is 74.50 Euros!!!
I could make one from a $5 sipper bottle, a coathanger and some fishtank hose.

And now for my 5 cents worth! I reckon the Taupo trip would be great. I'm a nana rider and still think it's easily possible for a day trip. Early start would be the way to go, nothing like riding in the pre dawn cool as the sun is rising...(cue: wistful romantic music). Plus with some good coffee in the system somewhere Psy, it'll be just the berries (come in fine spring weather).

I don't mind either way. An overnighter would make for a little more relaxation time at Taupo which would be nice. Has anyone got a tow bar and trailer rigged up? We could take the tent down and save a few pennies

this sounds good to me, but the driver would have to miss out on the ride, unless there's someone with a big sidecar or a trike??

That was what I was meaning... A bike trailer
