:P, anyone is free to go on the rides usually.

The slow group/fast group, its just a case of making sure that there is a person at the front of each group who fits into the group, and will ride properly as the front of the pack

dw, your fxr should be able to keep up with dushy easily enough. As for holding people up, if you feel you are doing that, just pull over to the left and let them past you. On the rides, everyone ALWAYS stops at a turn off, so you definitely wouldn't get lost, and I'm sure theres plenty of nice individuals who would stick with you so your not alone.

If you do set up a ride, I probably won't be pushing it since my bike is in much need of a service, so if we split into fast/slow, I can lead the slow group (I at least ride faster than steven )

Nobody will leave you behind, especially if you've initiated the ride organisation!!!

If they can't pass you safely then you're barely holding them up

    We can has moar beer?

I may be going for a ride this weekend. Anyone who wanted could come along. But you wouldn't want to. Ixion rambles are notorious. They start out disorganised , and after a few false turns, getting lost a few times, venturing down unknown but interesting roads, and being attacked by hawks, eventually descend into chaos. I don't worry, my philosophy is that it's a small island and if you keep going you are bound to come to somewhere. And even if it is not the destination you originally had in mind, why, it may be better.

It will be very slow. My route guide is 1926 and I suspect most of the landmarks are no more (though Ann Bridge is still there, and the little church of St Wozzaname ).

My map bears date 1958 , but someone appears to have stolen many of the essential roads. A sad commentary upon modern society that one cannot leave a road for a few years without someone stealing it.

I will post up dates and times and purported routes later.

It's like a gucci shop, all full of very expensive things. You putter quietly around but don't touch anything or say much then putter quietly out again.

    Or like a library...or a museum...

At any rate it's too quiet. Let's call it the eye of the storm. I want troll threads and pointless arguments and I want them now!
