    "How about a 700km ride?"

Enjoy the 700. It's a bit too hardcore for me. A gas tank or so's worth riding is more my cup of tea.

Wish I could go on the 700km ride but unfortunately it doesnt fit in with my other commitments. Will have to stick to one tank rides as well.

Must have missed you guys on Sunday I was down your way and bumped into a pile of riders at the service station before the Rimatuka's, was a briliant day and ride back to the Bay.

Depending on how I feel in the morning, I may join you StoneY. Been off work since Wed due to cold and chest infection but starting to feel a little better. Going stir crazy being cooped up in the house all day. Poor dog hasn't had a walk since Tues.
Gixxer is in bits at the moment. Stripped her down to give her a proper clean as I'm putting on the new chain and sprockets, plugs, oil, brake pads. Even dropped the swing arm and rear spring out to get the chain off rather than splitting it. That allowed me to clean everything underneath.
Unfortunatly, with being laid up in bed for the last few day's, she is still in bits. So If I'm out, I'll be on the CB.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Yeah! I decided to go visit a mate in Carterton for coffee so headed out Glastone way. It was too nice a day not to be riding. When I got to my mates house he wasn't in so just headed back around the back roads again. Bumped into a group that I knew on the back road and ended up riding with them. Eventually headed back to their place to talk shit. Didn't get home until 8:30

Im trying to open a social group but cant find how so e-mailed admins

I reckon we call this social group, dedicated simply to MartinB coffee runs- "The Ridge Runners"

Got that name idea from the nickname given the Guadalcanal based Marine pilots in ww2 flying out of Henderson- almost as dangerous as riding the Taka's with current road state so I reckon its a good moniker
    Just ride.
