Is it just me or does it seem odd that you get more points for finishing third than 1st, referring to points leader in b grade getting 25 for third and race winner getting 20 for 1st in round 2's 1st race, doesn't change anybody's placing and maybe there's an explaination. Just curious.
So you might be on an fxr for the next round after all aye henk??![]()
Only if I can find one I can afford. I know the bike I have can go faster, just need the time to play with it. Might be wiser to stick with it in some ways, if I get an FXR all excuses evaporate on the spot. Rough plan is to get another bike and then fight the wife over who is going to ride what.
Saw some of the photos on Damien Toman's flickr page, not sure how much more lean angle there is left in the bicycle sized tyre on the front.
if you get a fxr150 be damm careful......make sure its been loooked after, also be careful when stripping it down, if you want to set up a fxr150 you should cost in pipe...ect
atleast your bike goes and is running alright
if you have enough money get a cbrin my case its cheaper in the long run.

well all you do is buy them and put on a decent exhaust......the dash ect is ultra light-weight and isnt worth removing and so are all the other bits.....
plus with the fuel injection they dont need so many mods to make them compeditive....
your lucky with your fxr.....mine was a lemon so it cost more thsn it was woth...
but im young and im trying to get the skills so i can race over-sea's and in nz when im older.....i dont want a bike that holds me back from doing that, i also travel with my bike alot more than alot of you guys so i need relibiltly.

I think concentrating on skills more than bike would prob pay off ten fold than trying to get the fastest bike, yes reliabilty is key to that, but some of the most reliable bikes out there are the least reliable looking. I know I have a llooooooooonnnng way to go before i start blaming the bike. You have the advantage of age Max.
And henk I still can't get over how small your front tyre is. You desreve the big balls award for the weekend in my books.![]()
Bollocks, to win that award I'd have to keep tipping it in until I crashed to find out where the limits are, and I'm too old for that sort of carry on.
Kieran on the other hand gets my vote for the award by stacking it into the corner until the pipe lifted the rear wheel off the deck. At least thats the way it looks in the photos.
If he ever gets that bike running properly he's going to be frightningly fast.

i cant concentrate on my skills if i dont have a working bike.....if i wanted to get the fastest bike i would of got a rgv150 and bored it down to a 125 {because its air cooled}....but i knew that bike would most likely not like that and end up breaking.....
i deffinitly have age to my advantage and fitness.....if i crash i get better quickly.....thats why my dad isnt tempted to race my bike![]()
