So how may of you went tonight and didnt get blown over?
what did i miss?
A good bunch tonight, and we have a new friend on a really cool red bike that sounds wicked and sucks gas like there is no tomorrow. Good laught tonight, cheers guys.
sorry i didnt make it along, the combination of not really knowing the roads etc and the rain and wind was just a lil much to risk haha hope to be there next week
really cool bike. you need to come over next time and see it![]()
yea well i know my limits. i probably could have got there easily enough but woudnt have been comfortable doing it.
Sorry I couldn't make it last night, I was looking forward to it too. Meeting new people and all that. However, the Scorpio decided to have a lie down with me on it on my way to work yesterday morning. So until I get to replace the handlebars I'm out of action.![]()
Obviously didnt make it last night.... however... i wasnt curled up in bed like some *cough*...I took my own little rain ride south.. Harbour bridge was MANIC! Who drives over the bridge at 10ks.... *grrrr at cagers*
Will defo be attending next week though... from westgate...from now on toohehehe
Thanks for a great ride last night, I learned heaps especially in that rain! It's great to hang around people who know a lot more about bikes than I do, even despite certain embarrassing mistakes!
I'm in my garage fighting evil carburettor juju. My bike/ecological disaster on wheels is running a little rich: the last two tanks I only got 110 km out of. Not a bad effort for a 250. Now it's in bits in my garage, and I've spent the last 20 minutes crawling all over the floor to find the worlds tiniest o-ring.
110 out of a tank? Luxury..
Have a go on a muscle cruiser designed for the American gas guzzling market and see what kind of mileage you get out of it..
On a more negative note, even though I haven't been in ages, I don't think i'll ever get the oppourtunity to come again.
Got a new job and i'm back in the kitchen, more profesional scene. Unfortunately I work Wednesday 3-10pm, so that's me out i'm afraid..
But change is always on the horizon for me, particularly this time of year, so we'll see how it all goes.
Woe to You Oh Earth and Sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty six.
