I agree with nzkr1 in that a staggered start might be the best and safest option.
    I agree Deano,

Staggered start at least when we have amxed start in F3 our bikes are vary similar top speed but this is gonna be crazy! I mean your gonna have the likes of you and Geoff up the frotn then when you hit Dennis Hulme straight the 1000cc bikes are gonna come hurtling past and almost be dangerous! depending on how I feel after qualifying I might pull out as I am not risking my safety

Broo. My point is that I don't think the speed difference will be any greater than the speed difference between postie senior and junior. As far as I know it has never been a problem in posties.

Correct. We are used to slower bikes on the straight as per norm and half lap in problems all solved. As long as protwins arnt parked in behind at breaking areas cause we break earlier should be no different from junior senior. We will have a nuisance factor at corner one and first time through infield.Care taken no problems. Its the pro twins results that niggles me.

Speed difference senior / junior round three qualify.Click into second half as i was on Sunday drive first half.

It's going to be a mixed bag anyway I reckon with the close points. The CHCH guys/Josiah/PC Snr factor is going to make things interesting, but all good fun.

For me it could go either way.

You've got PC pre89 Snr in the bag eh.

I doubt a speed diff is really the crux to consider.
I would be more concernesd about the launch of the classes mix at the green light.
Imagine if you can a front row of SVs (caused by a damp qualifying session) then the second row a bunch of 1000 & 1100 posties, mix in a dry start and thats a recipe for a giant fuckup.

Is it really too hard to stagger a start to allow a good clean/ safe race ?

    My 2 cents worth anyhow.

    Paul.

We've (you and me) have done it before on the PC Jnr 400's though.

It's not so much the speed differential as the mixed bag it presents for me. How do you spell K cera cera

Agreed thats how I feel I mean they can stagger the start for 125 and streetstock why not for postysr and pro twin? plus it might allow a few of us other pro twin guys who end up qualifying further back to get a good race for a change as we are starting clean with just pro twins my 2c
