I wish I lived closer too, that'd be awesome! I think that rain you've got is heading down this way today and tomorrow..!
What size are your tires crfchick? And how worn are they? If your 18 inch rear I'm pretty sure I've got a decent one kicking around here somewhere that I could do ya on the cheap if ya wanted.... Haven't had an 18 for a while and don't see it happening anytime soon!

Thanks RITTR! I'm pretty sure my rear tyre is an 18, they're just the standard CRF230 wheels so I guess they must be! I'll check when I get home but how used is the tyre and what sort of dosh do you want for it?

Yeah I'd say it is then. Just went down and checked and she's a 120/100/18 so a reasonably wide one too for decent grip. As for how used, not new but not been used too much by the looks... It looks how I'd expect one of mine to look after 3-4 rides put it that way... Dunno what ones worth to be honest, been a while since a bought a second hand tire. Pay my entry on sunday and it's yours? If thats fair? I don't mind chucking it on for you if need be too

Oh and Secondfield, shutup ya slimy bastard!

Cool you're getting another tyre. Haven't you had new tyres on the bike at all? It will improve resale value anyway! Really need them good for riding on the wet grass and in the mud! What's your front one like? Ooh yuck, the underpants washing doesn't sound great! Definitely get the help putting the tyre on though, looks like a pain in the butt doing that!! You go girl! Can't wait to see pictures! Apparently you're not trying hard enough if you don't fall off! LMAO!

Good snaps Pete. Surprised the lens didn't fog up when in the bush, given the amount of huffing and puffing that was going on to get up some of those slippery, root infested uphills!! Took me 2 hours to clean the bike - great!!

yeah there were a couple of fun uphills (fun to watch from the top anyway). i think i need to replace my tyres a little more often, my mate had sharp edges on his new tyres and he went up no problem.
