All accessable if you know what I mean. Come over one day I'll take you for a tour. Doesn't take very long.

Turning yourself in for the reward money?

So all that mining - ironsands for the smelter?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

Yes that's where the ironsand is mined and sent as a slurry through a pipeline to the steel mill. Which I am once again off to tonight at 7pm. It pays the bills and allows me to live in paradise

Awesome looking tracks Anthrax. How does that front wheel handle the rough stuff.

Handles it just fine. If the 21" was 10/10 in the rough stuff then the 17" with the 110/90x17 MT60 would be 8.5/10. Seems to get me everywhere the 21 would but may push a little more in the soft sandy turns but just wind on a bit more power and the rear tells it exactly where to go.

Yeah, I was wondering if it washes out, or bulldozers through the corners on the gravel. Looks the part though. Awesome.

Thanks for this, what a cool trip. Hope you gave somethought for us office bound folk along the way. That is a silly thing to say, of course you did, hence the pictorial posted here

Not too bad on the gravel. Hard to tell the difference. Best thing though is the front brake. The smaller disc on the dirt wheel struggles to slow it down from 160km/h at times

The first two paper roads are ok for public access, but the other tracks are off the public roads in Waiuku Forest, which eventually come out on the banks of the Waikato river. A little risky diverting of into the trees, is that why you are at the Police station Andy.?

No. I didn't pass any locked gates or go anywhere that you're not allowed (with a reg/wof'd bike).

    The Waiuku adventure continues

I have just got back from a similar quick ride around the Waiuku area. Same roads.

The tracks are quite wet and muddy at the moment, but a lot of fun. (Almost lost it once or twice)

No camera with me, but was great for a quick Friday ride before the rains sets in for the week-end.
